Cup

This cup was designed along with the water vessel project, where the client asked for interesting pieces of dinnerware to spark conversation. The client was hosting strangers to have a meal together. This design of a “cup” was intended for users to be able to drink from only the longer end of the lip. This lip creates an interesting experience to drink from as it is intended to caution the user from drinking too fast as well as for them to question the usability of the form as a “cup”. The client asked for three different sizes, one for water, one for tea, and another for wine. Another size was created as a sauce dish.
